The 6th Annual Screenplay Contest, www.zoetrope.com/contests, closed for submissions on Sept. 4. The winner and finalists will be announced Feb. 2 at this website. The Grand Prize is $5,000 and the winning and top-ten finalist screenplays will be considered for development by dozens of leading production companies; the writers will be considered for representation by the top talent agencies. The script was discovered in AZ's 2004 Screenplay Contest; it was subsequently optioned and developed by Michael London Productions, one of the dozens of production companies that receive the top scripts for consideration.
